Wow! What a semester this has been. CCA has undergone a lot of changes. The parents are doing some homeschooling along with classroom instruction. The amount of homeschooling depends on the grade level. I am teaching 5th, 6th, 9th, & 12th grades. A lot of 12th grade is being done through dvd curriculum, and then I review with them. It has been a challenge. I am also spending some time with the 12th grader, Aaron. We meet once a week to talk about the names of God and how God is revealing His character to us. Where we see the names of God it is through someone experiencing that part of God in the Bible. It is my heart to experience the Lord. I am leading Aaron through this to guide Him to experience the Lord in a new fresh way.
I have continued to reach out to the Bible College students establishing relationships. I can definitely see the Lord continuing to develop the love for discipleship in my heart. The time I spend with the Bible College students is some of my favorite times because of work of the Word of God and Spirit in their lives. It is a blessing to be a part of. I thank the Lord to be included in a ministry that He has blessed so abundantly. See below for more details.
Village Outreach
A group of us went to a house in the village to help pick corn for the harvest. The old man recently lost his wife. It is only him and his daughter to pick the whole field. We were able to bless him and finish the field in about three hours. It is a neat picture to see me in a corn field. It definitely isn't something you see in Fort Lauderdale. Some of the kids also went to help, which was neat for them to be a part of. We continue to reach out into the village and help out wherever we can.
CCBCE recently accredited!
It has been an amazing testimony of God's blessing and work in the ministry here in Hungary. The Bible College has been accredited and will soon be offering a Bachelor's degree in theology. It will be starting in the Fall of 2010. God's grace and blessing on this ministry continues to amaze me. I am excited to see how He is going to use this to further His Kingdom.
